 WHAT MAKES ACTIVE MEN™ DIFFERENT? Many multi-vitamin products appear to have more nutrients than Active Men™, but what they have chosen to do is to add insignificant amounts of many different ingredients, in order to make it appear that they have more to offer. With Active Men™ we have added clinically significant amounts of all the nutrients listed. So for example, we add 100mg of standardized Panax Ginseng extract, enough to reduce stress and support adrenal health, rather than adding 20mg of 5 other elements, at amounts that do not accomplish anything nutritionally, but only serve marketing purposes.

WHAT DOES ACTIVE MEN™ DO?  Taking a quality multivitamin and mineral product is the most important supplement that can be consumed by men.  To have the body perform at its maximum potential, it must be fed a full spectrum of vital nutrients.  Daily consumption of a high-potency multivitamin and mineral formula produces optimum efficiency, and it’s considered the first step in reaching your full potential.  Active Men™ will offer your body vitamins and minerals that have been depleted due to poor diet, over-training or increased stress. This gender specific formula contains many key vitamins and minerals to support:

 BONES & TEETH: Calcium will help protect bones and teeth from deterioration but without certain co-factors it won’t do any rebuilding. Active Men™ includes these co-factors that will channel calcium into the skeletal structure, actually strengthening and rebuilding it. The bone-building co-factors are Boron, Silica, Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2.

 BLOOD SUGAR REGULATION: Keeping our blood sugar stable, also keeps our energy levels stable throughout the day, helps to prevent diabetes, and stops carbs from being stored as fat in the body. Chromium Polynicotinate is provided at the clinically effective dose of 200mcg. The Panax Ginseng present in this formula also works to help control blood sugar levels.

 HEART HEALTH AND CIRCULATION: Three of the B vitamins (Vitamins B-6, B-12 and Folic Acid) work together to prevent homocysteine levels from building up in the body. Homocysteine, in excess, allows cholesterol to become trapped in the arteries, leading to heart disease. Other nutrients present that help to prevent heart disease, and which work to keep the heart muscle strong, include Vitamins C, E, and K2, and the minerals Magnesium and Silica.

Saw Palmetto extract is also in Active Guy, and along with the minerals Boron, Selenium and Zinc, can prevent prostate problems from developing, and help to reverse existing conditions. These nutrients can not only shrink a swollen prostate (indicated by having to get up at night to urinate), but are also proven to help prevent prostate cancer.

 DO YOU NEED ANYTHING ELSE, OVER AND ABOVE YOUR ACTIVE MEN™ MULTIVITAMIN? The law in Canada restricts us to putting only 1000IU of vitamin D in the daily serving. As well, for a highly stressful lifestyle, or for those with compromised immune systems, it would be good to take additional vitamin C, two more times daily.
